Installation Instructions:
Step 1. Choose a safe location on the handlebars of your motorcycle or bike in which to mount the opener.
Step 2. Place the clamp on the underside of the handlebars making sure the “TOP” is at the top of your handlebar. Place the CycleOpen remote on top and angle the remote at the desired angle around the handlebar.
Step 3. Secure the opener by using the provided torx security wrench to tighten the two mounting screws. Gently tighten them one at a time to secure the device in place. Start with one screw and then proceed to the other, alternating between them until both are snug. It is crucial to exercise caution during this step. While it is essential to ensure CycleOpen is firmly attached, overtightening the screws can potentially damage the mounting system, therefore, we recommend tightening the screws just enough to securely fasten CycleOpen without applying excessive force.
Safety Precautions: Do not operate or adjust the opener while riding. CycleOpen assumes no liability for safety of the rider. CycleOpen is not responsible for any damages caused to your motorcycle or bike due to the installation or use of this opener.
Battery Replacement:
The CycleOpen remote uses a 3-volt battery type CR2032.
Battery replacement does not affect the existing programming.
Step 1. Using the provided torx security wrench, remove the two mounting screws to release the clamp so the opener can be removed from the handlebar.
Step 2. Unscrew the four retaining screws on the back of the remote.
Step 3. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one.
Step 4. Reassemble.
