Programming Instructions V2 for Genie Overhead Stanley Wayne Dalton Etc
Programming Instructions for V2 (Genie Overhead Stanley Wayne Dalton Etc):
Step 1: On the CycleOpen remote, press and hold button #1 down and as your doing so, quickly press the button #2 four times. Let go of the buttons. The blue light will turn red and blink slowly. If you do not get the slowly blinking red light, then repeat this step. The red light indicates it is ready to receive a signal to duplicate.
Step 2: As soon as that red blinking light appears, place the original remote that you want to copy in front of the CycleOpen remote, at about a distance of 2-3 cm, and press and hold the button as if you are opening your door/gate. Keep pressing the button until the red light on the CycleOpen remote stops flashing.
Step 3: If duplicating was successful, you will now see a rapid blinking light on the CycleOpen remote. This indicates it copied the signal and is waiting for you to choose a button to store it. If no light appears after the flashing red light, you may have to try a few more times to get it to work. This is not uncommon. If it still does not copy the signal, it may not be compatible for copying.
Step 4: Now press one of the four buttons on this new remote where you want to store that signal and keeping pressing it until the light turns off indicating it has been stored.
Paring the garage door opener with your receiver:
Get a ladder and locate the Learn/Teach/Program button on your garage door opener. The learn button on a garage door opener is usually located above the antenna wire that hangs from the motorhead, or under a light cover on the control panel. The button can be square or circular and may be red, orange, green, purple, or yellow, but it's rarely labeled. If you're having trouble finding it, you can consult your owner's manual. Quickly press and release the learn button (pressing for 5 seconds can delete the openers memory!).
The learn LED will glow steadily for 30 seconds.
Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on the CycleOpen remote that you wish to use.
Release the button when the garage door opener lights up blink or two clicks are heard.
Installation Instructions:
Step 1. Choose a safe location on the handlebars of your motorcycle or bike in which to mount the opener.
Step 2. Place the clamp on the underside of the handlebars making sure the “TOP” is at the top of your handlebar. Place the CycleOpen remote on top and angle the remote at the desired angle around the handlebar.
Step 3. Secure the opener by using the provided torx security wrench to tighten the two mounting screws. Gently tighten them one at a time to secure the device in place. Start with one screw and then proceed to the other, alternating between them until both are snug. It is crucial to exercise caution during this step. While it is essential to ensure CycleOpen is firmly attached, overtightening the screws can potentially damage the mounting system, therefore, we recommend tightening the screws just enough to securely fasten CycleOpen without applying excessive force.
Safety Precautions: Do not operate or adjust the opener while riding. CycleOpen assumes no liability for safety of the rider. CycleOpen is not responsible for any damages caused to your motorcycle or bike due to the installation or use of this opener.
Battery Replacement:
